The Chairman of Iwajowa local government area of Oyo state, Honourable Oyewunmi Muritala has congratulated the newly elected members of the executive of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
This is coming following the emergence of Mr Ojo Adewoyin as the chairman of the PDP in the local government after the local government congress held on Saturday.
Muritala made this known in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday while pledging to work with the newly elected members of the executive of the party.
The Chairman also appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for allowing internal democracy to thrive in the party.
He commended Barrister Niyi Farinto for his roles towards the successful conduct of the congress urging the new members of the executive members to serve the party in their different capacity judiciously.
He also hailed Honorable Hakeem Adedibu.
His words: “I congratulate the newly elected members of the PDP executive in Iwajowa Local Government, led by Chairman Ojo Adewoyin. I urge them to serve the party judiciously in their different capacities.
“I also want to appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for allowing internal democracy to thrive in our party. This is a testament to his commitment to fair play and good governance.
