It was an atmosphere of joy and jubilation in Iseyin town in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo state during the unveiling of the first private housing estate in Oke Ogun last weekend as the Oyo State Government and the Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Red chamber, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari promised to sink boreholes and a 300kva transformer for the the estate.
While speaking, Senator Fatai Buhari, commended Alhaji Lateef Temitope, the CEO of Lateef Temitope Estate (LTE) for the initiative and also described him as a God given gift to the people of Oke Ogun, Oyo state and the country as large.
He also announced the donation of a 300KVA transformer and a borehole for the new estate.
On his part, the Chairman, Oyo State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Engineer Najeem Omirinde promised to sink a borehole facility at the estate on behalf of Oyo State government.
The Rural and Sanitation Agency boss further hailed the tenacity of Alhaji Lateef Temitope for initiating such enviable project while he also reaffirmed Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment towards the welfare of Oyo state citizens.
Alhaji Lateef Temitope, while speaking appreciated his family members and associates for their unflinching support in the course of the project, he also acknowledged dignatries who graced the unveiling ceremony while he promised that his organization will continue to do everything in its capacity in reducing the housing deficit in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The event was also attended by other well meaning individuals such as DSP Mojirade, Mr Ayo, CEO Woman City in Ibadan, Honorable Alaran Of Iseyin, Onjo of Okeho, Ikolabo of Iseyin who represented the Aseyin of Iseyin, Alaafin of Oyo who was ably represented by Chief Atayese of Oyo Land, Mr. Raji Ahmed, Chiarmen of Iseyin and Kajola Local governments, Chief Imam of Iseyin, CAN representative, Ace broadcaster, Olalomi Amole and host of others.
