The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Oyo state, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin on Thursday started his local government campaign at Oluyole local government.
The campaign train which moved from his campaign office had a stop-over at Adelabu market, Onipako Atajere, Olomi, Muslim areas where he addressed the people of Oluyole local government.
At Onipako Atajere, the association of baales in the Oluyole Local Government area promised unflinching support for the African Democratic Congress’ gubernatorial candidate, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin.
The association’s chairman, Baale Mustapha Bello at Onipako Atajere hall, New garage, Ibadan, spoke on behalf of other baales who were in attendance.
Bello said that Lanlehin’s father was a man of good integrity and he believes a son should be like the father.
While decrying that politicians are given to making but failing to fulfill promises, he appealed to Lanlehin to ensure
that all promises made are fulfilled.
The governorship candidate however promised the traditional rulers that he will be faithful to his promises.
Lanlehin said “I will fulfill my promises.
“Some of your ancestral lands were lawfully or unlawfully taken from you sometimes ago.
“All the lands that the previous governments have illegally taken from the people of Oluyole, if I become the governor, I will return the lands to the rightful owner.
