The Iba of Kishi, Oba Moshood Oyekola Lawal Arowoduye II and the leadership of the Kishi Progressive Union (KPU) have pledged their support for the reelection of the Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
They made the pledge, on Wednesday during a congratulatory visit to the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Bayo Lawal in Ibadan, the state capital.
While speaking, the Iba of Kishi thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for finding their son worthy of the position of the Deputy Governor.
He promised that sons and daughters of Kishi will support the Seyi Makinde/Bayo Lawal ticket for the 2023 general elections.
He expressed hope and optimism that the emergence of Bayo Lawal will bring more development to Kishi town and Oke Ogun in general.
Also speaking, Chief Bayo Adesope – National President, Kishi Progressives Union,said the 2023 election result will be different from the 2019.
He also pledged support for Governor Seyi Makinde and Barrister Bayo Lawal’s reelection.
The Deputy Governor while welcoming the Monarch and his entourage to his office registered his appreciation to his father and his kinsmen for their show of solidarity.
He promised to be a good ambassador of his hometown by standing firmly with his excellency to make Oyo state greater.
He nonetheless solicited the support of all indigenes of Kishi home and abroad for Governor Seyi Makinde led administration as well as his re-election come 2023.
