Prince Olaide Muhammad, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Irepo/Oorelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency has commended the reign of His Royal Highness, Engr. Moshood Oyekola Aweda Lawal Arowoduye II, Iba of Kishiland on the occasion of “Kishi Day 2022”.
August day celebrated in June is championed by his Royal Highness, the Iba of Kishiland, saw the Kishi Progressive Union (K.P.U), key stakeholders home and abroad, and notable personalities from accross the world and numbers of Kishi indigene convened at MUSACK playing ground in Irepo Local Government, Kishi, Oyo State on Saturday, June 11, 2022 for the celebration of “Kishi Day 2022” and the birth of Kishi University.
In his words, Muhammad said the occasion is the breeding of a new epoch in the annals of growth and development of Kishi community and, it can only be credited to the peaceful and impactful reign of the leader, father and King, His Royal Highness, Engr. Moshood Oyekola Aweda Lawal Arowoduye II.
“Your Highness, I pray you continue to reign and lead Kishi aright in the throne of your forefathers,” he said.
In the same vein, the APC house of reps candidate appreciated the Kishi Progressive Union home and abroad for their unwavering support in making the occasion a colorful one.
“This congratulatory and appreciative speech won’t be complete without acknowledging the support and dedication of Kishi Progressive Union, words are inadequate to express your commitment to making Kishi Great.”
He implored Kishi people to be on their toes especially in the coming election to select credible candidates that will represent the community, especially the House of Representatives in which he is vying, saying it’s only good representatives that will foster community development.
“Dear Kishians, we should all get our act together and leverage on the commitment of all foreign personalities that graced the occasion and make every precedent effort for the project of the University of Kishi to come to reality. It’s the best way to appreciate the kind gestures all the invited personalities extended.”
