Adeyemi FC received the Fair Play Award for their display of sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Earlier in the day, Adeyemi FC secured third place after defeating Abiola Babes 4-1 in the third-place match.

In a gesture of goodwill, the President of the foundation, Mr. Abiodun, directed that the third-place cash prize be awarded to Abiola Babes, the fourth-placed team, to encourage their efforts and participation.

Cheques were presented to the teams: Abiola Babes received ₦500,000, Challenge FC, the runners-up, received ₦750,000, and Liberty FC, the champions, received a grand prize of ₦1,000,000.

Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, whose foundation organized the championship, expressed his joy at being in Nigeria and supporting young talents. “I promised myself that when I make it in football, I will come back home to help children. I’m happy to see the amazing talent here in Nigeria. I came happy, and I’m leaving even happier. Thanks for all the support,” Adeyemi said.

The Karim Adeyemi Foundation continues to empower young talents in football and education, bridging the gap between aspiring players and professional opportunities.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the “Champion of Ibadan Culture” award to Karim Adeyemi by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) in recognition of his commitment to promoting and supporting the cultural heritage of Ibadan.

The event was attended by prominent personalities, including Karim Adeyemi’s parents, Chief Abiola Ali, Mr. Saheed Oyebamiji, Mogaji Kunle Dehinde, Mogaji Barrister Rotimi Ali, Oyo State IFA Chairman Elder Kehinde Ojelowo, and the Oyo State FA Secretary. Members of Adeyemi’s team from Germany also attended.
