The spokesman to the Honourable member representing Lagelu / Akinyele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Olatoye Temitope Sugar, Dr Kunle Hamzat has been released by his abductors, insideoyo.com has gathered.
Reports say he was kidnapped few days ago on his way to Ekiti for a burial program
According to a post on one of his Facebook pages titled “DR TUNDE AMUSAT RELEASED”, Amusat was released by his abductors after unannounced ransom has been paid. It was also gathered that he sustained several bruises on his body.
“To the Glory of God Almighty, we are pleased to announce to the public that, the Senior Special Assistant to OSF chairman, Dr Tunde Amusat has been released from his abductors on ransom @ Ijebu-Jesha in Osun State.
“Despite several bruises, we thank God for his being alive.” it reads.
The post further thanked notable groups and individuals who have been in the search since he was declared missing.
“We appreciate the concerted efforts of Hon. (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar, Awe Old Student’s Association, Security Agencies, Atayese group, Sigma Club, U.I, friends and well wishers too numerous to mention.
“May the good Lord protects us all. Congrats OSF family.” it concludes.
