Engineer Mufutau Open Salawu FNSE, a Former Special Adviser on Works to the immediate Past Governor of Oyo state, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Open Salawu, the Babalaje of Ogbomoso land, also announced that he will give the ten million naira meant for the purchase of the party’s House of Representatives Forms to his supporters within Ogbomoso.
He made these know in a statement personally signed by him and made available to Insideoyo.com on Monday.
Insideoy.com recalls that Open Salawu was an aspirant of the party for Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency Seat.
The Waziri Jari Nupe urged all right thinking people to rise and participate in active politics adding that until then people may not get the desired results
He added that his next political moves would be announced soon.
The statement read: “Today I resigned my membership of APC.Having looked closely with the situation of the party I hereby ceased to be party to the undemocratic process.
“I joined APC in 2014 and since then have always been a financial and active member until now. I have decided to give my supporters within Ogbomoso North, South and Orire L.G.A the sum of 10,000,000 ten million naira that I ought to have purchase my nomination form for the house of representatives in APC.
“I encourage all right thinking people of our dear Country to rise and participate in active politics, until then We may not get the desired and deserved results. My next political moves shall be announced soon.
“Thank you and God bless Nigeria.”
