Chief Adediran Alabi, the father of Oyo lawmaker, Akin Alabi, has died at the age of 85.
Akin Alabi who represents Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency at the Lower chamber of the National Assembly announced the death of his father in a post on Twitter on Friday morning.
The Alabi family hails from the Ajiwogbo village in Egbeda Local Government of Oyo State.

In 1992, Late Chief Alabi Adediran contested and lost election for a seat in the House of Representatives. The feat, achieved by his son, Akin Alabi at second trial.
