Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanlandi and Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Resorts, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Rashidi Ladoja on his recent coronation as a Crown-Wearing Oba, following his installation by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
The coronation ceremony, which took place at the new ultramodern palace, marked a significant milestone in the traditional leadership structure of Ibadanland. The installation was performed by the revered Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, with the acting Governor of Oyo State, Bayo Lawal, presenting the instrument of office to the newly crowned Oba Ladoja.
In his congratulatory message, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi praised Oba Ladoja’s dedication to the progress and unity of Ibadanland, noting that his acceptance of the crown is a testament to his enduring commitment to the cultural and traditional heritage of the Yoruba people.
Chief Sanusi emphasized the importance of traditional leadership in fostering development and preserving the rich history of Ibadanland, stating that Oba Ladoja’s coronation would undoubtedly bring renewed strength and wisdom to the Olubadan-in-Council.
“As we celebrate this historic event, I extend my warmest congratulations to Oba Rashidi Ladoja. His decision to embrace this honor reflects his deep understanding of our culture and his unwavering dedication to the service of our people. I am confident that under his leadership, the traditions of Ibadanland will continue to flourish, and our community will witness even greater prosperity,” Chief Sanusi said.
Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi concluded by wishing Oba Rashidi Ladoja long life and a successful reign, filled with peace, progress, and prosperity for Ibadanland and its people.
