The Oyo State House of Assembly has started moves to impeach the Deputy Governor, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, who decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a petition read by the Clerk of the House, Yetunde Awe, on Wednesday, the clerk said the petition meets the two-third requirement to initiate impeachment process.
The petition was signed by 24 out of 26 PDP lawmakers who are in the house.
