Hon Akeem Mustapha, a former lawmaker of the Oyo state House of Assembly and former chairman, House Committee on Public Petition and Judiciary has said that he is fulfilled that his efforts are yielding results.
Mustapha, who is also the chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Kajola local government area said this on Tuesday, during the inauguration of a magistrate court in Ilero.
This newspaper reports that the Chief Judge of Oyo state, Honourable Justice Iyabo Yerima inaugurated magistrate court complexes at Ilero and Okeho in Kajola local government area of the state.
The former Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts, Finance and Appropriation said he worked assiduously to facilitate the magistrate courts to the local government.
He added that he hopes many other things he worked on to facilitate to the local government will also start to materialize.
He commended Governor Seyi Makinde and the Oyo state Judiciary under the leadership of Justice Iyabo Yerima for considering his request and constructing the court complex.
His words: “Today, I’m happy and fulfilled that my efforts are yielding results. One of my efforts while I was in office as a Lawmaker is the facilitation of this magistrate court complex for my constituents.
“I want to commend Governor Seyi Makinde and the Oyo state Judiciary under the leadership of Justice Iyabo Yerima for the construction, completion and commissioning of the project.
“I hope many other things I worked on to facilitate will soon begin to materialize.”
Declaring the courts opened for use, Justice Yerima noted that the befitting structure would ensure prompt and easy access to Justice for members of the communities.
Justice Yerima also stated that she would continue to strive hard until the judiciary is restored to its past glory.
