The Immediate Past Chief of Staff to Governor of Oyo state, Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka has rejoiced with all christians on the celebration of this year’s christmas and wished them good tidings as they celebrate christmas.
In a press statement signed by his aide on Digital Communication, Mr Kehinde Owolabi, the Oyo central senatorial hopeful urged everyone to embrace the spirit of giving.
His words: “Christmas looks different for all of us. I use the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ to wish everyone good tidings and as we spend time with those we love physically or Virtually.
“Let us all celebrate the blessings we cherish, embrace the spirit of giving and look out for one another by offering prayers and exchanging gifts in the spirit of Christmas.”
He also used this occasion to implore political leaders in the country to wake up to the challenges of good governance and urged Oyo state residents and Nigerians in general to pray for peace.
The Ladilu of Oyo kingdom concluded by wishing all christians across Oyo central senatorial district a merry christmas and a prosperous new year, praying that the coming year will bring everyone all joy and peace.
He also prayed that this celebration will continue to bring peace which is paramount to the growth and development of our country which shall be beneficial to everyone.
