It was a double celebration for the parents of a set of twins identified as Taiye and Kehinde Adegoke, as they recently graduated from the University of Ibadan with a First Class in Law.
It is always a thing of joy for any parent to witness their children grow up into brilliant people achieving success at every point in their life and this is probably what the family of Adegoke must be feeling. Taiye and Kehinde Adegoke have proven that the connection shared between twins is indeed a strong bond that cannot easily be severed. The young men recently graduated with a First Class from the department of Law, University of Ibadan.
The brilliant men were among the 21 law graduates comprising 18 females and 3 males, produced in 2017 by the faculty being the first of its kind since the inception of the faculty in 1981. Kehinde and Taiye also emerged the second and third best graduating student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 6.0 and 6.1 out of a maximum point of 7.0, respectively.
The University of Ibadan conference center was filled with applause on November 12, when the Dean of Law, Prof. A.I. Olatunbosun called the twins out on stage to have a handshake with the Vice Chancellor.
Kehinde and Taiye were active students’ leaders while on campus. While Taiye was the Students’ Union Public Relations Officer, 2014/2015 session, Kehinde was a two times major contender for the post of the Students’ Union President. The twins are not just gifted intellectually, but also in the areas of art. According to reports, they released several songs while on campus.
