“As every human existence begins with history,likewise the astonishing 3 years administration of the youngest executive Chairman ever in the history of Ibarapa North Local Government began“.
Hon.Lawal Lateef Adebare Akorede led administration began in May 2021 immediately he was sworn in by His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde FSNE.
Akorede’s Administration has graciously increased and transformed the nooks and crannies of Ibarapa North local government area of Oyo state Nigeria to a desired destination.
His Administration has tremendously and heavily improved the level of quality service delivery to the good people of the Local Government.
The following are the testaments to the aforementioned claims:
1.SUSTAINABLE SECURITY ARCHITECTURE:
Akorede’s security initiative s was anchored on conventional and non-conventional approach which has ensured adequate protection of live and property of the good people Ibarapa North LG as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria .This was done through:
(A). Immediate employment of (100) Local Vigilantes, well equipped, better remunerated,regular medical services and trainings.
(B)Provisions of Patrol Van for the Nigeria Police, Igangan Police Division for quick and swift response to any security incident or threat.
(C) Renovations of Ayete divisional police offices for convenience,ease of operation and maintenance of law order.
(D).Constant and Adequate support for special security task forces with code name (Operation Burst) for combative operations at any given time.
(D)Convergence of monthly security meeting with all the concerned stakeholders and the security agencies in the LG in order to appraise and evaluates the tactics and strategies for a securing our community.Amongst others .
INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES:
Akorede’s impact on infrastructural development has made the Local Government to grow in leaps and bounds by making life become bearable for the populace of the LG through:
(A) Grading of all the Local roads within the LG cut across all the villages for ease of transporting their agricultural produce to the market.E.g Alabi road,Abule Tapa road, Idiyan,Akoya,and. Asunnara road respectively.
B)Rehabilitation of some certain trunk “C “roads within the local Government .E.g LG Secretariat road and others.
C)Ongoing rehabilitation of Ayete,Tapa,Igangan,Abidioki and Abule Tapa.
(D). Provisions of (5)Motorized boreholes at Ayete and Igangan respectively.
E)Repaired of (15)hand pumping boreholes across the Local Government .
(F)Rehabilitations and equipment of Kajola’s (Tapa)Maternity Center to the state of heart.
(G). Reconstruction of the ablaze Asigangan of Igangan land Palace to modern taste and well furnished .Ready for commission
(H).Rehabilitation and furnished of Igangan Court Hall .Ready for commission.Among others!
3) PROVISIONS OF BASIC HEALTH CARE:
(A) Provision of periodic free medical cares for all ages.
(B). Provisions of pharmaceutical drugs to all the Primary health centers in Ibarapa North LG.
(C) Provisions of generating set for some maternity in the LG in-order to enhance and improve their quality service delivery to the populace.
D)Distribution of over (1000) insecticide mosquitoes nets across the Local Government to reduce the spread of malaria.Among other.
(4)EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
(A).Provisions of adequate and standard instructional materials to all the primary and basic secondary schools in Ibarapa North Local Government. E.g Distribution of Exercise books, textbooks 📚,First Aid box,White maker board,mathematical set.E.tc
B) Giving of scholarship to (17)beneficiaries across the local government.The scholarship was give to the indigenous students of the local government at First Technical University Ibadan and School of Nursing Ibadan.
C) Provisions of assistance to needy students in any areas of support.
D)Maintaining a healthy relationship with LG officials and the students unions bodies .
5) YOUTH AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
A)Provisions of empowerment materials for our youth and women in different vocations such grinding machines, sewing machines,Hair dryers,motorcycles,generators among others .
B)provisions of relief materials and cash gifts to some selected widows across the local government.
(C).Provisions of succor to all the Igangan invasion victims .
Akorede’s achievements in less than (3)Years has transformed and transverse like a colossus.
Akorede’s achievement has positively improved the social and economic wellbeing of the Local Government.
The aforementioned achievements are testament to his commitments,dedications passion and determination for rejuvenations and strategic developmental orientations.
Finally,Maintaining balance between the party(PDP) chieftains,members and the general population speaks volume of highly level of generosity and philanthropical gestures.
It is of no doubt that his unprecedented achievements will speak volume for his second bidding and re-election for the continuation of his awaking legacy.
We can therefore,we conclude that “one good term deserves another.”
