Hon. Lawal Lateef Akorede, Chairman of Ibarapa North, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Prof. Bidmos Murtala, a distinguished Islamic scholar who passed away on March 4, 2025.
Describing his death as a tremendous loss to Ibarapa North, particularly Ayete, Akorede praised Prof. Bidmos’s works, which showcased Ayete, Ibarapa North, and Oyo State.

Hon. Akorede prayed for God to grant the professor’s family, Ayete, and Islamic Studies enthusiasts the strength to bear the irreparable loss, noting that his numerous academic achievements will continue to be remembered.
