The chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo state, Honourable Lateef Akorede has lost his brother, Alfa Karomorudeen Ishola Lawal Akorede (Kamorisi) who died on 21st January, 2024, at 51 years old.
Akorede in a statement, on Wednesday, thanked family, friends and other sympathizers praying God grant the departed soul Al Jannah Firdaus.
The statement read: “‘To whom much is giving much is expected’. I sincerely appreciate all the dignitaries, business associates, political leaders /associates, religion bodies friends locally and internationally that came to sympathize with me and the entire family of Lawal (Akorede) on the demise of our son, brother, uncle, Alfa Karomorudeen Ishola Lawal Akorede (Kamorisi) who answered the greatest call of Almighty Allah on 21st January, 2024 at age 51.
“The entire family of Late Alhaji Nejeemdeen Akorede used this medium to express our unreserved gratitude as we held the 3 days Fidau prayer today, 23rd January, 2024 at his Igboora residence. The lecture was delivered by the two renowned Islamic scholars and lecturers:
