The caretaker chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Shittu Ololade has commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde and the Makinde family over the demise of their mother, Mrs Abigail Makinde.
Ololade in a press statement made available to newsmen on Friday said Madam Makinde lived a fulfilled and worthy life and will be greatly missed.
He also prayed for eternal rest for Madam Abigail and urged the family to please take solace in the good deeds of Mama, which will remain indelible on the sands of time.
Mrs Abigail Makinde died on Thursday in Ibadan at the age of 81.
He said: “On behalf of the good people of Ibarapa North local government, I want to condole with the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the Makinde family over the demise of their mother, Mrs Abigail Makinde.
“Mrs Makinde lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation. She is indeed a mother. She will be greatly missed. I urge the family to please take solace in the good deeds of Mama, which will remain indelible on the sands of time.
“I pray God Almighty grant her eternal rest. I pray God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
