The Association of Ibarapa indigenes working in Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora is set to honour the outgoing Deputy Rector of the institution, Dr. Ariyo Okunlola.
According to the Chairman of the association, Mr. Peter Oladokun, the association of Ibarapa indigenes working in Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora has concluded plans to build a block of five offices as donation to the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.
Mr. Oladokun explained that the staff offices whose foundation would be laid on Friday, October 2, 2020 would be named after the outgoing Deputy Rector for OYSCATECH, Dr. Oluwasanjo Ariyo Okunlola.
Some of the dignitaries expected at the foundation laying include; the Governing Council Chairman for OYSCATECH, Prof. Lateef Sanni, the Acting Rector, Mr. Olaniyi Adekunle, other Principal Officers of the institution, the Caretaker Chairman, Ibarapa Central Local Government, Mr. Olaoniye and a host of others.
Mr. Peter Oladokun enjoined Ibarapa indigenes working in OYSCATECH and friends of the association to be part of the epoch making occasion.
In a related development, the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora Christian Community has concluded arrangements to organize thanksgiving and appreciation service for the outgoing Deputy Rector, Dr. Oluwasanjo Ariyo Okunlola, the immediate past Registrar, Mr. Niyi Fehintola, the former Chairman Committee of Deans, Dr. Oluyemi Ayanboye and a former lecturer, Mr. Jacob Oyeyinka.
According to the President, OYSCATECH Christian Community, Engr. Fagbemi Agboola the thanksgiving and appreciation service was organized in order to celebrate the former staff of the institution for their commitment and dedication to duty during their stay in the college.
The thanksgiving and appreciation programme is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 by 11.00am.
