Barnabas Daniel missed the golden one on one situation that would have been an opener for the Ajiiete Warriors in the eleventh (11th) minutes into the game from a set piece by Adigun Adewale.

It was a balanced game in a very conducive atmosphere with both sides playing classical game until the twenty seventh (27th) minutes when Adeyemi Adeyeye, the ex Osun United and 3sc striker, nodded home a cross from Ahmed Yahya.

The well coordinated passes among Babalola Ibrahim,Adigun Adewale,Barnabas Daniel and Adeyemi Adeyeye put more pressure on the visiting sides but Sodiq Suraj and Dare Olatunji were too careful and experienced to allow the homers increase the tally.

A spot kick was awarded to the homers in the thirty second (32nd) minutes when Ahmed Yahya was brought down in a one on one situation by Nurudeen Lateef, the goal keeper for the Omoluabi Giants, in the eighteen (18) yards box.

The Osun United gaffer,Duke Udi called off his lads until the thirty sixth(36th) minutes when Barnabas Daniel scored from the spot to increase the tally to two(2) for the Soun Boys.

The perfect substitution of Mamud Akorede for Okorie Uche in the thirty nineth(39th) changed the tempo of the game in favour of the guests.

Barnabas Daniel got the first caution in the thirty eighteth (38th) from a back charge on Jide Apena while the firce looking and very rugged Sodiq Suraj also got booked in the fortieth (40th) minute when he elbowed Adeyemi Adeyeye in a contest.

The first half ended two nil in favour (2:0) of the Ajilete Warriors.

The substitutions of Adigun Adewale for Obinna Christopher of Crown FC and George James for Fadairo David by Osun United in the forty sixth (46th) and forty eighth (48th) minutes respectively further strengthened both sides.

The brilliant goal by Uche Okorie in the fifty fifth (55th) minutes by the visitors boasted their morale and increased pressure on the homers.

Barnabas Daniel’s substitution for Chibuike Nwankwo created a lot of glaring scoring chances for the Ajilete Warriors but Nurudeen Lateef was excellent and calm to save all dangerous moves by the Oyekale led boys.

Crown FC now second on the log table with twenty points(20) will travel to Calabar to play Rovers FC at the U J Etsuene Stadium on Sunday 30th September, 2018 in one of the Week 13 match fixtures of the Bet9ja Nigeria
