Honourable Segun Olaleye, an aspirant for Ibadan North Federal constituency seat at the House of Representatives, Abuja, has congratulated the Olubadan-designate, Dr Lekan Balogun over his appointment and confirmation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan land.
Olaleye, popularly known as Radical Brother also commended the Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the revocation of amended Ibadan chieftaincy title declaration.
He made this known in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Tuesday.
The former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly wished the Olubadan long life and peaceful reign.
He said with the experience and pedigree of the 42nd Olubadan, Ibadan land will experience development in all aspects.
While commending the Governor, he described his decision to approve the revocation of Ibadan chieftaincy declaration as that of true son of Ibadan.
He said if not for the wise decision of the Governor, Ibadan land would have been in another Obaship crisis which the last administration plunged it into.
He also commended those who stood firmly and ensure that by the amended Ibadan traditional declaration was revoked.
