The founder of the Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa has described the death of former Governor Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala as a great loss to the country, nigeria, Oyo State, Ogbomosoland and the All Progressives Congress (APC) family.
Arc Giwa, in his condolence message signed and made available to journalists on Thursday, sympathized with the family of the late former governor, people of Ogbomoso as well as leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress in Nigeria for the great loss.
The APC chieftain said that late Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala was gallant police officer, an astute businessman and a political icon, who his wealth of experience in the political landscape of Nigeria and Oyo State will be deeply missed.
According to Arc Giwa, “the news of the death of former Governor Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala came to me as a shock especially when we are mourning our revered father and Olubadan of Ibadanland, it was sad news.
“Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala was a great man, a gallant police officer, a businessman and political icon during his life time.
“His wealth of experience in the political landscape of Nigeria and Oyo State will surely be missed. It was great loss to Nigeria, to Oyo State, to Ogbomoland and to All Progressives Congress family,” Arc Giwa Hassan said.
He, therefore, prayed for the family he left behind, his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Oluwakemi, the children, brothers and sisters and all members of Akala family, that almighty Allah give them fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and that God grant him eternal rest and overlook his shortcomings.
