A gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Niyi Akintola SAN has commiserated with the immediate family of Kabiyesi, the Ibadan council of Chiefs, the entire Ibadan indigenes and dwellers on the exit of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajeogunguniso I.
Akintola in a statement titled “Adieu Olubadan” made available to newsmen on Sunday prayed God grant the monarch Al Jannah Firdaus.
The state read: “The news has been confirmed that his Majesty Oba Saliu Adetunji , Aje Ogungunniso1 has joined his ancestors.
“The king of the biggest city south side of the Sahara desert has gone on the final journey without his Oloris and the palace helps at the age of 93.
“Ha! Erin ti wo!!
“The erudite scholar and legal titan, Chief Adeniyi Akintola commiserates with the immediate family of Kabiyesi, the Ibadan council of Chiefs, the entire Ibadan indigenes and dwellers on the exit of our beloved king. May the Lord grant him Aljanna Firdaus.
