The founder of Christ Artillery Crusaders (CAC Atamatase), Prophet Ajilore Atamatase JP, has predicted the re-election of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, in Saturday’s governorship election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The cleric made the declaration during a ministerial engagement at Atamatase Area, Oluwo, off Egbeda Toll Gate, Ibadan, Oyo State, on Wednesday, where he urged the governor to remain committed to fulfilling his campaign promises if re-elected.
According to Prophet Ajilore, a second term would represent an opportunity for Governor Oyebanji to deepen development efforts and fulfill what he described as God’s mandate for the people of Ekiti State.
“God still wants you to continue this great assignment and I want you to hold on to Him. Continue to pray and stay focused. The race may look tough, but God says He is in charge and that He wants you to remain at the wheel of leadership in Ekiti State,” he said.
The cleric, who is also a popular radio evangelist, advised the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to be troubled by the outcome of the election, expressing confidence that his own opportunity for leadership would come at the appropriate time based on his political journey and experience.
Prophet Ajilore, known among followers for prophecies believed to have come to pass, further stated that God revealed to him that the election process may experience some challenges, but expressed confidence that divine intervention and prayers from men of God would ensure peace and that the candidate destined to emerge victorious would prevail.
He called on residents of Ekiti State to remain peaceful, avoid violence, and participate responsibly in the democratic process.
It would be recalled that the cleric was among the few religious leaders who publicly predicted the emergence of President Bola Tinubu despite criticism at the time, while also maintaining that the administration would require sustained prayers for national progress and stability.
