Engineer Najeem Omirinde, the immediate past chairman of the Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OYRUWASAA), has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across the state and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Mawlid, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement released to the press on Monday, Engr. Omirinde congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde and his Deputy, Barrister Bayo Lawal, on the auspicious occasion.
“I pray that Allah grants our leaders the wisdom and strength to continue serving our state and nation with integrity and dedication,” he said.
Engr. Omirinde also greeted the Okere of Saki land, Ọba Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi, Muslim community in Old Ifedepo Federal Constituency and Saki West Local Government, wishing them peace, prosperity, and divine guidance.
His words: “May this special occasion bring us closer to our Creator and to each other, and may our collective prayers bring blessings and prosperity to our nation.”
Furthermore, Engr. Omirinde specially greeted the Chief Imam of Saki land, praying for continued spiritual growth and wisdom.
“I have no doubt that under your leadership, the Muslim community in Saki will continue to thrive and grow in faith.”
Engr. Omirinde urged Muslims to embrace the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), emphasizing the importance of love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
He prayed for continued peace and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria at large, seeking Allah’s guidance and protection for the nation’s leaders and citizens.
