Engineer Najeem Omirinde, the immediate past chairman of the Oyo state Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, OYORUWASSA has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde over the Governor of the Year Award.
Omirinde in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday said that the award is well deserved.
He commended the Governor for embarking on numerous developmental projects and for taking every measure to ensure the good of Oyo state enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Omirinde, a former lawmaker of the Oyo state House of Assembly called on the people of Oyo state to continue to pray and support the Seyi Makinde-led government.
Makinde was selected by the Leadership Newspaper as recipient of its prestigious Governor of the Year Award on account of the massive infrastructure development projects and good governance in Oyo State, under his watch.
The newspaper, during a visit by its management, hailed Governor Makinde for the quantum leap made by Oyo State in the areas of economic growth as well as other excellent achievements across different sectors.
