The first session of the one week course for football Coaches being organised by Football Coaches Association of Africa Nations, FCAAN, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, begins on Friday.
According to the Director, Coaching Education of FCAAN, Coach Henry Abiodun, the first session of the training programme which is E Diploma Course would be concluded on Saturday.
Abiodun stated that the D Diploma Course would begin on Monday, while closing ceremony of the one week training would be held on June 21.
He maintained that some participants of the E Diploma Course have also enrolled for the D Diploma Course.
Abiodun said he was impressed with the high number of Nigerian Coaches also from South Africa that registered for the programme.
The National Training Officer of Nigerian Football Coaches Association also pointed out that the participants at the programme would be made to undergo the theoretical and practical aspect of modern coaching methods to make them compete favourably with Coaches around the world.
About one hundred and thirty five football Coaches are participating in the training course.
The President of FCAAN, Dr. Terry Eguoaje from United States and Kyle Quigley, a world known football Instructor from United Kingdom have arrived Nigeria for the week long programme.
