A lawmaker representing ATISBO, Saki East, Saki West Federal Constituency, Honourable Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, has congratulated Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin on his elevation to the prestigious title of Aare Alaasa of Ibadanland.
The title was conferred on Senator Folarin by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Abisodun described the honour as a testament to Folarin’s decades-long legacy of selfless service, dedication, and commitment to the progress and prosperity of Ibadanland.
“I extend my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to my esteemed leader, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, on his well-deserved elevation to the prestigious title of Aare Alaasa of Ibadanland,” Abisodun said.
“This distinguished honour stands as a resounding affirmation of your decades-long legacy of selfless service, unwavering dedication, and passionate commitment to the progress and prosperity of our beloved Ibadanland,” he added.
Abisodun prayed for Senator Folarin’s success in his new role, wishing him “abundant wisdom, strength, and grace to uphold the dignity of this revered title and to continue championing the values and vision of our ancestors.”
He also expressed gratitude to the Olubadan, saying, “I also express deep gratitude to Kabiyesi, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, for recognizing and honouring a true and devoted son of the soil.”
