Father of Fresh FM’s Femi Oluwajobi who was killed by a drunk driver, Pa Thomas Egunjobi, has said he is consoled by the fact that his late son knew Christ before his death.
The late broadcaster’s encounter with Christ, insideoyo.com learnt, made him change his surname from Egunjobi to Oluwajobi.
According to the grieving father, his son was a quiet individual who preferred a modest life.
He said: “Since his childhood days, my son was a humble, quiet and focussed person. He had the ambition of becoming a prominent person in life. He was hard working and this was evident in the recognition he enjoyed in primary and secondary schools. My consolation was that he knew Christ before he died. He died on his way to church a few minute before 2017 ended,” he said.
Oluwajobi, 32, popularly known asMusic Dynamite ( MD). was said to have been knocked down in front of his office on his way to church for the New Year Passover service after leaving the office.
On Tuesday, his remains were interred at Sango cemetery, Ibadan.
