Oyo state government has reversed the decision and suspension of Ibarapa Polytechnic’s Rector, Mr Iyiola Eyitayo, InsideOyo.com can exclusively report.
In a letter dated April 30, 2019, seen by InsideOyo.com, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Adeniyi Olowofela queried the single-handedness of the Chairman of the Governing Council in suspending and dissolving of the school management.
The letter requested the principal officers of the school to continue their work pending the outcome of a proper council meeting.

Last week, Samuel Ogundariji, Chairman of the Governing Council of the Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa, dissolved the management of the school and suspended the institution’s Rector, Mr Iyiola Eyitayo.
In a circular seen by InsideOyo.com last Friday, the Council also announced the appointment of Peter Adejumo as the acting Rector, Mr Rauf Bello and Mr Deolu Obagunle as the acting Bursar and acting Registrar respectively.
