A former member of the House of Representatives who represented Egbeda/ Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and an aspirant for Oyo Central Senatorial District under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the coming 2023 General Elections, Honourable (Pharm.) Festus Adewale Adegoke has congratulated the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr.) Olalekan Ishola Balogun Ali Okunmade II on his coronation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, wishing him a prosperous, long and peaceful reign.
The two-term member of the House of Representatives under the People’s Democratic Party between 2003-2007, 2007-2011 equally appraised the wisdom of the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde for his pragmatic moves in preserving and upholding the tenets of the Olubadan traditional council.
Adegoke politically known as FADEG described the newly crowned Oba as a well-known and outspoken individual, with vast knowledge and experience in both public and private sectors, and prayed that his ascension will usher in great exploits and blessings into Ibadanland.
He urged the new Olubadan to bring his wealth of experience in the administration of Ibadan kingdom and to inspire the youths of the city.
