A former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Ayobami Ojo, has donated N1 million to the Tede Muslim Community during the one year celebration of Chief Imam of Tede and turbaning ceremony of Asiwaju Ismail Ademola Adedeji as Seriki Adini of Tede land.
Ayobami Ojo represented ATISBO, Saki East State Constituency during the 7th Assembly. He was also the campaign coordinator of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ifedapo Federal Constituency during the last election.
The donation is seen as a gesture of goodwill and support for the Tede Muslim community.
During the ceremony, Ayobami Ojo expressed gratitude to the PDP government of Oyo State, led by Engineer Seyi Makinde, for implementing the Omituntun 2.0 campaigns’ roadmaps.
“We appreciate the efforts of the state government in implementing the Omituntun 2.0 campaigns’ roadmaps.
“However, we plead for more attention to be given to Old Ifedapo and the Oke Ogun zone,” Ayobami Ojo said.
The event took place on Saturday and was attended by prominent individuals from the community and beyond. The donation is expected to have a positive impact on the Tede Muslim community.
