The death has been announced of a seasoned administrator and agriculturist; Chief Peter Olubayo Agboade. He died on Sunday, 13th August, 2017 at the age of 70 after a brief illness.
Pa Agboade was a retired Deputy Director, Nigerian Plant Quarantine Service, Federal Ministry of Agriculture. He attended Loyola College, Ibadan for his secondary education before proceeding to the then University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile Ife, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Crop Science and Production from the University of West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago.
He attended series of conferences, seminars and workshops on agriculture, management and administration while in service. He is survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
