Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has elevated positions of some prominent members of the council for the progress of Ibadanland.
The coronation ceremony took place at the palace of the monarch, Popoyemoja Ibadan.
Those elevated are:

- Former Head of Service in Oyo State, Chief Kudrat Adeleke, as Maye Iyalode of Ibadan land.
- Chief Precilia Kuye as Abese Iyalode
- Chief Mojisola Oyebola as Agbaakin
- Chief Mojisola Ladipo as Ikolaba Iyalode of Ibadanland.
Those in attendance were chiefs, which included Otun Olubadan, Lekan Balogun, the Osi Olubadan, Rasidi Ladoja; Asipa Olubadan, Eddy Oyewole; the Iyalode of Ibadan land, Theresa Oyekanmi.
Others were Tajudeen Ajibola, Amidu Ajibade, Ekarun Balogun, Kola Adegbola and Lateef Adebimpe.
The Oluwo Afobaje of Ibadanland, Chief Ismaila Popoola performed the rites on behalf of Olubadan.
