The lawmaker representing Ibadan South East II State Constituency, Hon. Ademola Popoola has congratulated Muslims in the state and the world at large over eid-el-fitr celebration after the successful completion of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
Popoola who doubles as the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters and State Honours said this in a statement issued on Sunday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
He also enjoined Muslims to pray for Nigeria especially in this pandemic time.
His words: “I felicitate with Muslims on the successful completion of the month of Ramadan, which Muslim faithfuls have embarked on with thirty days of fervent prayers and fasting.
“While celebrating this year’s eid el fitri, I enjoined Muslim brothers and sisters to continue praying for the nation and the world at large. We can only pray to see the end of the pandemic covid-19.”
