The Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Honourable Lateef Akorede, has extended warm felicitations to Christians in the local government area, Ibarapa land and Oyo state in general on the occasion of Easter.
Honourable Akorede, in his message, said, “As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I wish to extend my warmest felicitations to all Christians in Ibarapa North Local Government. May this occasion bring joy, peace, and love to your families and communities.”
He acknowledged the significance of Easter in the Christian faith, symbolizing hope, renewal, and the triumph of life over death. “Easter is a time for reflection, renewal, and rejuvenation. May this occasion inspire us all to live a life of love, compassion, and service to humanity,” he added.
The local government chairman urged Christians to use the occasion to reflect on the values of sacrifice, love, and compassion that Easter embodies.
