The Founder and Chief Executive officer of Daka Foundation, Dr Kazeem Adesina Abidikugu popularly known as KSO on Friday has commiserated with the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the death of his eldest brother, Engr Sunday Makinde.
He also commiserated with the Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Barrister Muyiwa Makinde, the entire family and the people of Ibadanland over the passage of the deceased.
Engineer Sunday Makinde, aged 65 years passed on in the early hours of Friday 24th of January 2025.
Abidikugu who is a United Kingdom based Psychiatric Consultant while mourning the death of Engr. Sunday Makinde expressed his deepest sympathy to Governor Makinde, Barrister Muyiwa Makinde and the entire family during their difficult time.
Abidikugu in a condolence message addressed to Gov Makinde, which was made available to journalists, said the sudden death of Engr. Sunday Makinde is a big loss not only to the Makinde’s Family but the entire Ibadanland .
According to him, “I’m very sad to hear about the loss of your brother. That his death is sudden makes it more painful, but we take solace in his good deeds while alive. I pray his memory will be a light, guiding you through the darkest of times.
“My thoughts are with you as you navigate this unbearable pain. Please accept my deepest sympathy. The Almighty God will console you and give you the fortitude to bear the loss.
“I also pray for the immediate family left behind by the deceased. God Almighty in His infinite mercy will uphold them and provides for their needs. God will also uphold both of you in this darkest hours”.
