The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has introduced free online training for all students of the institution during this COVID-19 pandemic period.
In a message sent to all students of the school on Monday, April 6th, 2020, the school authority urged every student to join the training sessions and “take them seriously as Certificate will be awarded to the participants.”
The training was organised by LAUTECH ICT Centre in conjunction with the LAUTECH centre for Research Innovation Discovery.
The statement, seen by InsideOyo.com, on Tuesday, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. M.O Ologunde, advised all students to“take the courses seriously as Certificate will be awarded to the participants.”
“No student should join more than only one course. The penalty for such students is that he/she will be removed from the programme and won’t be given the certificate,” the statement added.
The e-training is expected to start from Thursday, April 9 to Friday, April 17, 2020. It will hold between 12 pm – 2 pm daily.

2. BANKING/CATERING – Led by Adeola J Alade OF AMBROSIA FOODS, Ogbomoso.
3. TYE/DYE (Adire) – Led by Adebiyi Abiade Yusuf of HARBIIDYER, Ilorin.
4. GSM SOLUTION (Repair) – Led by Owoade Tope Isreal of TOAC TECHNOLOGIES, Ogbomoso.
5. BUSINESS BRANDING (Graphics) – Led by Wale Bakare of LIFE PAGE GROUP, Ogbomoso.
6. DIGITAL MARKETING – Led by Gideon Adewuyi of SANSTONZ CONSULTANCY SERVICE LTD, Abuja.
7. DATA SCIENCE (Programming) – Led by Olasunkanmi Rosline of LAUTECH ICT, Ogbomoso.
