Contrary to reports that Fuji star, Taye Currency (Apesin), was admitted at the University Teaching Hospital today owing to his recent return from the United Kingdom a few days ago and his performance yesterday at the People’s Democratic Party rally in Ibadan, one of his aides has assured that the musician is at home resting and among family members.
In a phone chat with Tribune Online, his aide, Tope, stressed that the Fuji act was hale and healthy and had observed strict health compliance while abroad and upon return to Nigeria on Tuesday night.
“Alhaji is fine. The rumour is unfounded and the work of the opposition”, he said
Insideoyo.com had earlier reported how the PDP gathered in Ibadan, the state capital for a unification rally amidst coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The rally which was condemned by most people was organized to welcome notable leaders of the party who had left the party to various political parties back to the PDP.
