A former chairman of the Oyo state Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OYRUWASSA), Engineer Najeem Omirinde, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde, his wife, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde and Otunba Seye Famojuro over their Aare Orile-Igbon, Yeye Aare Orile-Igbon and Balogun Bobajiroro of Orile-Igbon Chieftaincy titles.
Omirinde commended the Olugbon of Ile-Igbon, Oba Francis Olushola Alao for honoring Governor Makinde, his wife and Otunba Seye Famojuro with the titles.
He made this known in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Saturday, in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Omirinde, a former member of the Oyo state House of Assembly added that they both deserve the honour.
He called on the people of Oyo state to continue to support and pray for the Seyi Makinde-led government to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy.
It reads in part: “I want to congratulate His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde and Her Excellency, Engineer Tamunominini Makinde over the Aare Orile-Igbon and Yeye Aare Orile-Igbon Chieftaincy titles.
“I also want to congratulate Otunba Seye Famojuro over the Chieftaincy title of Balogun Bobajiroro of Orile-Igbon.
“The Chieftaincy titles are well-deserved going by your contributions to the development of our dear state. I want to urge all the residents of Oyo state to continue to support the Seyi Makinde-led administration.”
