The Central Council of Ibadan indigenes (CCII) has opened application for scholarship from deserving and needy indigenes of Ibadan in various tertiary institutions in Nigeria with particular emphasis on Agriculture and Environmental studies at graduate or post graduate levels in Public Universities.
Insideoyo.com gathered that the scholarship covers tuition, boarding, books, and feeding up to project dissertation/thesis level.
In a scholarship notice from the CCII, the group said the recipient would receive the benefit as from this academic session.
“Suitably qualified students should apply, in writing, and collect authentic forms from the CCII Secretariat IBADAN HOUSE, Oke- Aremo Yemetu Ibadan,” the notice reads.
Eligibility:
Application is open to all genuine Ibadan indigenes:
· Undergoing fulltime accredited courses in recognized Nigerian tertiary institution
· Obviously needy and indigent
· of very good academic standing
· Is a registered member of FIBSU.
· Well- behaved in and out of school environment.
· With ability to provide guarantee by President of a CCII Affiliate Club
