Following the taken over of the mantle of leadership of Ido Local Government Council by Barr. Saka Abiona Fashola, on Monday, Secretary of Ido Local Government Council Area Hon. Bamidele Lawal Bam Bam has emerged as the Political Head of Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area, LCDA.
Announcing Hon. Bamidele Lawal Bam Bam as the new political head of Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area, the new acting Chairman of Ido Local Government Council Area, Fashola congratulated Bamidele Lawal.
He also used the occasion to urge civil servants to corporate with the Political Head of Omi-Apata LCDA.
On his own part, the Peoples Democratic Party chairman in Ido Local Government Council Area, Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola assured party members and civil servants that they will enjoy the reign of Hon. Bamidele Lawal Bam Bam.
In his acceptance speech, Bamidele Lawal promised to govern Omi-Apata LCDA with fear of God and listening ears.
Speaking on behalf of all the Councilors, the Leader of Ido Legislative Arm of the council Hon. Abidoye Trimisiyu said they acted in the interest of PDP and the general public by suspending Hon. Sheriff Aderemi ADEOJO who according to Hon. Tirimisiyu “lacks listening ears”
Members of various groups in the Peoples Democratic Party couldn’t hide their joy as they sang songs in Yoruba language to eulogize an elated Hon. Bamidele Lawal as the new political head of Omi-Apata LCDA.
