The Babaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaji Yekeen Abass, has extended his warmest congratulations to Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, and his wife, on their recent conferment with the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
The titles were conferred on the governor and his wife by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi CFR, the Deji of Akure Kingdom, in recognition of their exceptional leadership, contributions to society, and embodiment of Omoluwabi values.
In a goodwill message on behalf of market leaders council on Saturday, the Babaloja General noted that Governor Makinde’s leadership style has endeared him to the citizens and traditional institutions within and outside Oyo State.
“I am thrilled to congratulate Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife on this well-deserved honor. Their dedication to public service and commitment to the welfare of the people have earned them this prestigious recognition. I wish them continued success and happiness in their new roles as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.

The conferment ceremony was a grand celebration of Yoruba cultural heritage and values, with top dignitaries from Oyo State and various parts of the country in attendance.
