As part of reconciliation moves by the National leaders of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Alhaji Najeem Yasin has finally met with Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi aka Auxiliary.
Details of the meeting still sketchy at this time but InsideOyo.com gathered that the meeting was geared towards finally lasting solution to the Oyo looming crisis since new government emerged.
Alhaji Lamidi also known as Auxiliary and and the proscribed state executive-led by , Alhaji Abideen Olajide Ejiogbe (now proscribed), are said to be at loggerheads over who controls motor parks and the union in Oyo state.
Governor Seyi Makide has placed ban on the activities of the union and directed security operatives to takeover pending peaceful resolution.
InsideOyo.com reports that the Alhaji Yasin had said the ban has affected the activities of the union hence the need for all concerned members to sheathe their sword for the progress of Oyo NURTW.
“The NURTW national president, at the meeting, urged all members to strictly adhere to the decision of the state government and maintain peace in their various domains.”
