The Grand Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland, Imam Yunus Olushina Teliat Ayilara II, has congratulated Hon. Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
In a press statement issued on April 28, 2025, Imam Ayilara described the appointment as well-deserved, expressing confidence in Wolekanle’s leadership capacity to elevate the commission to greater heights.
“I have the honour and pleasure to, on behalf of the entire Muslim Community of Ogbomosoland, congratulate Hon. Akinwale Akinwole (Wolekanle) on his appointment,” the statement read.
The cleric commended Wolekanle’s political and administrative experience, noting that his leadership is expected to bring about the needed transformation and efficiency in the Local Government Service.
Imam Ayilara assured Wolekanle of his goodwill, prayers, and the full support of his office as he assumes the new role.
He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant him divine guidance and wisdom in discharging his duties.
