The All Progressives Congress, APC, has screened and cleared the Minister of Communication, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Shittu for the gubernatorial primary in Oyo state, InsideOYO.com has gathered.
The Saki-born graduate of University of Ife now (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife) was screened and cleared today by the party’s committee. This was made known by one of his aides, Malik Aderogba.
“Honourable Minister of Communications has been screened and cleared to run for the governorship race” he said.
Recall that insideOYO.com had earlier reported that Shittu has obtained nomination form to partake in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Oyo state.
The form was obtained by Saheed Oladele, Head of Shittu’s Strategy Committee and Malik Aderogba, one of his aides on behalf of the gubernatorial aspirant..
Shittu, who shunned Oyo APC meeting last Saturday, obtained the form today in Abuja, the capital territory.
