A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo state, Tpl. (Dr) Samuel Adesokan has congratulated Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin over his emergence as speaker of the 10th Oyo state House of Assembly.
Adesokan who hails from Lanlate also aspired to become a member of the House of Assembly in 2018 and 2022 to represent Ibarapa East State Constituency but later stepped down his ambitions for another candidates.
He urged the speaker to see his position as the one destined by God and should not take it for granted in any regard.
He made this known in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, on Wednesday, in Ibadan, the state capital.
He urged Ogundoyin to see his constituency as a constituency that urgently needs rapid infrastructural development and use his relationship with Governor Seyi Makinde judiciously.
Adesokan urged Ogundoyin to sponsor bills that will facilitate more social amenities, youth engagement, youth employments, agricultural development programs and enterprenural development programs to Ibarapa East State constituency.
Adesokan also pointed out the dilapidated state of all local roads in Ibarapa East and the State government roads that lead from Ido to Eruwa, Lanlate to Maya and others he described as dead traps for commuters.
He prayed to God who has started the 10th Assembly with him today to make him end well with laudable achievements.
