He said: “The declaration of Amotekun as illegal security outfit is a testament to the insensitivity, biasness and wickedness of governance.
“I urge our Western States governors and all stakeholders to jettison the declaration. Let us be focused on the security of the life and properties of our region.
“As a traditional ruler, I will continue to sanction illegal immigrants capable of doing harm to my people.
“Our lands and people shall be protected even in the face of threat. Amotekun is welcomed in my domain to compliment the effort of the police and NSCDC .”
Oba Adeoye who was at the inauguration alongside the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II and other traditional rulers urged the Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde not to despair and continue with his good initiative.

He said: “Governor Seyi Makinde should not despair, continue with your good initiative.
“However, I use the medium to remind His Excellency on Agunrege – Ofiki – Irawo abandoned road which is now a death trap.
