The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, yesterday held a close-door meeting with Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.
Though details of the meeting is still sketchy, the monarch who arrived around 3 pm left before 4 pm.
Oba Adeyemi came with his son, Prince Akeem Adeyemi, who represents Oyo federal constituency in the House of Assembly and the revered Bishop Ayo Ladigbolu.
It was not sure whether the meeting was connected to the recent court case instituted by traditional rulers from Oyo town over the ceding of their villages to other local government in the formation of local council development areas, LCDA.
Only recently, the government ordered the state to go on with the conduct of election into the 33 existing local government leaving the LCDAs out of it.
This was after government had reneged on agreement to amicably settle the matter out of court.
