Sports betting website, Nairabet.com has launched a new feature that allows customers to edit their bets after they have submitted it.
This new feature allows the punters to be able to edit or remove a bet even after its been played.
“We are very excited to add this feature to our website as this is the first of its kind in Africa. This feature is important because there are many times punters make mistakes in their selections or they simply want to change their minds, this feature allows them to do it,” said Akin Alabi, Chief Executive Officer of Nairabet.com.
“For example, let’s say you place a bet on Barcelona to beat Real Madrid and you later discover that both Messi and Suarez are out injured. You can decide to change your choice to a draw or a Real Madrid win or even remove it totally and add new games.”
Alabi disclosed that there are several other features coming up this year including USSD betting, accumulation of different markets under one game and others.
“We are also paying refunding those whose bet gets spoiled with maybe just a game by paying 10% of what you’re expecting to win, the bonus too, it doesn’t matter any amount you stake with and this applies to shops as well. Although, we haven’t been able to take the software to all the shops yet but we will eventually do in the next three months.”
